A-TREE , the "Association of Tadikonda Residential Students for Education and Environment " registered under Sec 3 of Societies Registration Act , 2001, with Regn No 984/2022 is an organization started by a group of students studied at A P Residential School Tadikonda that was started as a Gurukul with the vision of Late Sri PV Narasimha Rao during 1972 to offer residential type education to the rural talent covering seven districts of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.
Highly talented rural students were selected through competition and they were provided with the best of its kind education ,food, books, uniforms etc till X Std.
Since 1975, the school started rolling out Class X students bagging most of the first ten ranks in the state every year. Today across the globe many of the students are placed at higher positions in Public and Private Sectors..
In the same model two other schools were also established followed by a state level Junior College that created history in education.
Later, seeing the success, Government statrted opening up more similar schools limiting the jurisdiction and the standards have come down due to dilution.The same legacy could not continue beyond the year 2000.
Out of the affinity, many batches used to support the school in various aspects and now they thought of extending their support to deserving students in the area of Education. Hence a Society has been formed by the students in 2022 for this purpose named as Association of Tadikonda Residential Students for Education and Environment (ATREE).
The primary objective of this society is to voluntarily render services in the areas of Education, Sanitation, and Environment in coordination with various stakeholders and establish a perpetual process to continue the initiatives.
The founders of this organization envisioned that this kind of support to the deserving makes a difference to the needy.
The areas of operation shall be in education and environment within India. Some of the initiatives include identifying talented students from the schools and supporting them in terms of finance to further education either directly or through sponsors.
